In with the cool kids

Feeling alternatively chuffed/uneasy with my top ten most viewed diary (for now) status here.

(I should also point out that any baby babble I blog about here is duplicated on the other site. Sometimes. Whatever.)

Is it the name that entices the readers in? It can't be the writing, surely....

Which got me to thinking...what makes for an interesting and/or popular blog? Is it in the way that a blogger is able to draw you into their private lives like you are a confidant? Is it their ability to make you laugh, or the way in which they can convey their emotions or tell a story from their lives? Is it in the way they can analyse an important issue and make you see it in a different light?

Or...just like at school, is it merely a cool nickname or a pretty online face?
